Dr. K. T. Prasad completed his MBBS from Tirunelveli Medical College, Tirunelveli, India in 2006 and MD (Internal Medicine) from AIIMS, New Delhi, India in 2010. He then joined the DM (Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine) fellowship at PGIMER, Chandigarh, India which he completed in 2015. Subsequently, he joined as faculty in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh, India in Jan 2017.

His areas of interest include asthma, interventional pulmonology, critical care, and lung transplantation. He has 40 publications to his credit.
